Mike joined Tandem in 1996, became a partner in 2011, and was named CEO in 2018. With deep expertise in planning, marketing, sales, sales training, customer service, and product design, Mike has played a pivotal role in supporting more than 50 Life Plan Communities through significant expansions, multi-site strategies, and repositioning initiatives.
As the partner leading Tandem’s Marketing and Sales Discipline, Mike works closely with Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina (PCSC), providing marketing and sales oversight for all six of their communities. He is currently directing the sales and marketing efforts for a 118-unit expansion at PCSC’s Foothills Retirement Community in Easley, SC.
Additionally, Mike serves as a strategic advisor to several other communities, including The Cypress of Raleigh (Raleigh, NC), Beechwood (Camden, SC), Manor Park (Midland, TX), and Grace Ridge (Morganton, NC).
Mike holds a B.A. in Business Management from North Carolina State University.
