Will’s curiosity for the senior living industry began after his grandparents’ move to a Life Plan Community ended up changing their lives. He joined Tandem in 2017 with the goal to help as many people as possible to understand the value of living in a Life Plan Community so they could have as great of an experience as his family had. He has since served to aid in the success of over 20 communities through major expansions, community repositioning, and occupancy growth. Will has extensive experience in providing multi-site marketing and sales, sales training, budgeting, planning, and developing marketing and sales strategies that are tailored to local markets while incorporating industry best practices. Will holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Furman University and lives in Belmont, North Carolina, with his wife, Megan, and two children.
My mom often says, “I love it when a plan comes together.” Every one of our community partners is different and requires a unique strategy to achieve success. I’m passionate about deeply understanding what makes our partners special, then guiding the marketing and sales teams through strategy development and execution. When I witness a team become evangelists for their community and learn to communicate with knowledge, enthusiasm, and integrity, I know that we’ve made a difference.
Serving today’s generation of residents while learning how to be attractive to tomorrow’s unique consumer is a fascinating challenge facing our industry. Communities that innovate with unique housing products and services, boldly embrace diversity, and communicate creatively will be the communities that succeed.
