A Bed and A Book is a nonprofit organization that serves children aged 0-17 by providing them with brand-new beds and books at no cost to their families. These essential items are delivered directly to homes by teams of volunteers, ensuring that families most in need benefit from this thoughtful program. By partnering with referring agencies and community organizations, A Bed and A Book identifies where their efforts can make the greatest impact.

The packages include everything a child needs for a restful night and a chance to dream big: a sturdy twin-sized bed, a comfortable mattress, a fluffy pillow, a soft comforter, and sheets—alongside books that open worlds of adventure and learning. The organization’s vision is simple yet profound: to ensure every child has a safe place to sleep and stories to inspire their futures.
